We specialize in supporting individuals with developmental disabilities and those with a forensic background, providing comprehensive day programs designed around each person's unique needs and goals Job Summary The Field Supervisor is responsible for the direct clinical care of the individuals they supervise. The Field Supervisor will oversee a group of Integration Specialists and the individuals they are providing direct care for. This may include providing direct care when needed, this can be continual or temporary. A few of the duties include: handling emergencies and crises, addressing medical needs, communicating with parents/guardians and support staff, communicating program changes to the team, driving and maintaining company vehicle(s), quality assurance, reviewing/collecting notes on a daily basis, data and paperwork, reporting staff performance and concerns, enforcing rules and providing direction to staff, assisting with staff counseling.
Responsibilities/Requirements:
  • Ensure safety of clients and maintain quality of clinical interventions.
  • Assist and report to the Regional Program Manager regarding the program operations and any other concerns or responsibilities while ensuring communication of pertinent information.
  • Assist and report to the Regional Clinical Manager regarding their caseload and any other concerns or responsibilities while ensuring communication of pertinent information.
  • Provides supplemental support to executive, administrative and managerial staff and take over the roles and responsibilities as assigned or delegated.
  • Provide daily locations to Curriculum Coordinator a month and a half in advance.
  • Ensure curriculum is printed, organized and ready prior to the start of the week.
  • Maintain and ensure accuracy of the field supervisor notebook.
  • Maintain, ensure accuracy, cleanliness and completeness of client binders.
  • Address medical needs (when carrying the necessary licensing/credentialing and training).
  • Addressing maladaptive behaviors, medical concerns and crises.
  • Covering staff call outs or emergencies this includes: o Provide direct care to the clients when needed. o Client pick-up and drop-off when needed. o Covering direct staff roles and responsibilities.
  • Collecting and reviewing daily notes, data and any other necessary paperwork on a daily basis.
  • Completing daily requirements such as documentation and notes (i.e. clinical notes in NPA or similar electronic system or paper documentation when unavailable).
  • Thorough documentation of events and reportable behaviors.
  • Writing and reviewing special incident reports ensuring timely reporting.
  • Ability to follow mandated reporting requirements.
  • Ability to pass a background check (must be free from any misdemeanor or felony convictions and any serious/frequent traffic violations).
  • Maintaining cleanliness, safety and functionality of company vehicle(s). Including turning in a monthly vehicle inspection sheet.
  • Writing and reviewing special incident reports as needed or required by company policy, local/state/federal law.
  • Enforcing policies and procedures. Minimum Qualifications
  • LVN, LPT, BCBA, LCSW, LMFT, SLP, OT, or PT certification/licensure.
  • 2+ years of experience of supervisory experience.
  • Ability to pass a DOJ, FBI and driving history background check (must be free from any misdemeanor or felony convictions and any serious/frequent traffic violations)
  • Ability to follow mandated reporting requirements.
  • Negative TB Test
  • Ability to drive company vehicles including Mercedes Benz Sprinter vans and similar vehicles that may include wheelchair vehicles and other large transportation vehicles.
  • The ability to work outside in possible heat, cold, rain and other weather conditions or engage in physical activities when accompanying or covering staff.
  • Knowledge of clinical interventions and data recording.
  • Knowledge of developmental disabilities.
  • Meet regional center vendor requirements: no criminal or serious traffic violations, pass a TB test, receive and abide by CPR/1st aid, HIPAA, Bloodborne pathogens, crises prevention and mandated reporting trainings.
  • Safe and reliable form of transportation for pick-up and drop-off of clients when needed. Preferred Qualifications
  • 2+ years of experience with individuals with developmental disabilities.
  • Formal training and knowledge of developmental disabilities and current and acceptable practices.
  • Formal training and knowledge of mental health and current and acceptable practices.
  • Experience providing rehabilitation services to individuals who were previously incarcerated.
  • Crises Prevention and Intervention (CPI) training or equivalent de-escalation training. Hours
