  • Full-time Construction Project Manager Position Summary Reporting directly to the Director of Property Management, the Construction Project Manager will oversee a wide range of multifamily construction projects, including interior and exterior renovations, capital improvements, unit rehabilitations, code compliance upgrades, and accessory dwelling unit (ADU) development.
This position will manage projects from initial planning and budgeting through final completion, ensuring exceptional quality, cost control, and timely delivery. The ideal candidate will possess extensive multifamily construction experience, strong leadership skills, and the ability to successfully coordinate multiple projects simultaneously. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of construction projects, from due diligence and pre-construction planning through project completion. Develop project scopes, budgets, schedules, and bid packages. Solicit and evaluate, proposals from contractors, subcontractors, and vendors. Coordinate with architects, engineers, consultants, and municipal agencies to obtain permits and approvals. Oversee interior and exterior renovations, capital improvements, and ADU construction across multiple properties. Monitor project budgets, review invoices, and approve change orders. Conduct regular site visits to ensure work quality, schedule adherence, and compliance with safety standards. Collaborate closely with property managers, operations, and maintenance teams. Maintain accurate project documentation, schedules, contracts, and progress reports. Identify and resolve construction challenges proactively to minimize delays and cost overruns. Ensure compliance with all applicable building codes, regulations, and company standards. Qualifications Minimum of five years of construction project management experience, preferably in multifamily residential renovation. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building systems, permitting, and applicable building codes. Demonstrated experience managing renovation, capital improvement, and value-add projects. Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings, specifications, and construction contracts. Excellent budgeting, estimating, and project scheduling skills. Proven ability to manage multiple concurrent projects in various stages of completion. Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Outlook, and project management software. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field is preferred but not required.
