Experience managing electrical construction projects is highly desirable. In this role, you will ensure efficient project delivery while aligning outcomes strictly with client expectations. The Project Manager is responsible for making critical decisions regarding project scope. Additionally, you will work with the Electrical Superintendent who will oversee the installation crew in the field, ensuring all milestones are completed to the highest professional standards while maintaining a safe, compliant, and highly productive work environment. Key Duties & Responsibilities
  • Manage initial customer inquiries regarding project scope of work and required specialized equipment.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales staff to precisely define the scope of work for installation projects, ensuring complete clarity and alignment on project specifications.
  • Determine and provide final approval for the full scope of work on estimated customer proposals, including assessing permitting needs, permit costs, equipment usage/rentals, parts, labor, and additional project expenses.
  • Conduct thorough site visits to evaluate precise project requirements, ensuring accurate quotes and final cost assessments.
  • Communicate directly with customers regarding the receipt and finalization of proposals to ensure transparency and address any questions or concerns.
  • Coordinate with department leads to verify internal labor availability prior to scheduling project installations.
  • Collaborate with customers to establish and optimize project schedules, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with client timelines.
  • Obtain necessary permits upon receipt of payment, collaborating directly with relevant government agencies to facilitate and expedite the process.
  • Schedule and facilitate regular weekly customer meetings to provide consistent updates and feedback regarding project progress.
  • Facilitate and oversee formal permit inspections to guarantee full compliance with local and state regulations.
  • Ensure all necessary employee certifications and permits are continuously maintained and up to date to comply with industry regulations.
  • Maintain accurate asset records for all tools and supplies utilized during installations, managing inventory effectively to ensure seamless employee availability.
  • Inspect completed job sites in collaboration with the IEC Sales team to formalize final sign-off, verifying that all specifications and quality metrics are met.
  • Provide active on-site assistance and operational oversight throughout the installation process, supporting adherence to project blueprints, specifications, and execution timelines.
  • Maintain complete project budgets and verify that all contract work is delivered according to the established execution plan.
  • Deliver a formal project completion summary to the customer, incorporating key data points, performance highlights, and photographic documentation of the completed work. Benefits & Perks
