This role offers an exciting opportunity to manage diverse teams, coordinate complex construction activities, and ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in civil construction management, excellent communication skills, and proficiency with industry-standard software tools. Duties Lead the planning, execution, and closing of civil construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines, budgets, and quality standards. Develop comprehensive project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar project management software, coordinating all phases from design schematics to construction completion. Oversee construction site activities, ensuring safety protocols are followed and work is performed according to blueprints, schematics, and contract specifications. Collaborate with clients, contractors, engineers, and internal teams to facilitate effective project coordination and communication. Utilize construction estimating tools like HeavyBid and Civil 3D for accurate cost forecasting and resource allocation. Manage contracts, change orders, and procurement processes while maintaining detailed documentation for all project activities. Monitor project progress through regular site visits, progress reports, and schedule updates; address issues proactively to minimize delays. Implement construction management best practices using software such as ProCore and Construction management software platforms to streamline workflows. Conduct blueprint reading sessions and review technical drawings to ensure clarity and compliance with project requirements. Prioritize time management strategies to meet deadlines without compromising safety or quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in civil construction project management with a strong understanding of heavy civil projects such as roads, bridges, or infrastructure development. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Proficiency with industry-standard construction management software including ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6 or Primavera P6 equivalents, Civil 3D, HeavyBid, and other relevant tools. Solid knowledge of contracts administration, construction estimating techniques, and project scheduling methodologies. Hands-on experience working on construction sites with a thorough understanding of site safety protocols and construction processes. Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with diverse stakeholders across multiple disciplines. Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail. Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field preferred; professional certifications such as PMP (Project Management Professional) are a plus.
