Construction Manager

$48/hr to 50/hr (Negotiable)

Contract-to-Hire Key Responsibilities:

Manage commercial tenant improvement projects from design through construction and closeout. Coordinate contractors, architects, engineers, and subcontractors. Conduct site walks, monitor progress, quality, and safety compliance. Track project schedules, budgets, change orders, and project documentation. Review submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, and contractor payment applications. Lead project meetings and provide status updates to clients and stakeholders. Support permitting, inspections, punch lists, and project closeout activities.

Required Skills & Experience:

5-10 years of construction project management experience. Commercial construction experience, including tenant improvement projects. Experience managing project schedules, budgets, and cost controls. Ability to read and interpret architectural, structural, and MEP drawings. Strong knowledge of construction methods, sequencing, and building systems. Proficiency with project management software, scheduling tools, and Microsoft Office. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or related field (or equivalent experience).

Preferred:

Experience with life sciences, laboratory, or technology projects. OSHA 30 certification and/or PMP, CCM, or LEED AP certification.

Pay:

$48.00 - $50.00 per hour
