Utilities Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Manager with over 15 years expertise in managing all aspects of building and lab utilities for a major fit out of a research facility for a major pharma client. The ideal candidate brings a proven track record of managing complex builds in regulated environments, maintaining strict compliance, and delivering projects safely, on schedule, and within budget.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform an Owner's Rep for construction activities for a major pharmaceutical capital project. Oversee contractors, subcontractors, and vendor coordination to ensure alignment with project goals, timelines, and quality standards. Drive project execution through commissioning, qualification, and validation phases, ensuring seamless handover to operations. Ensure compliance with GMP, FDA, and other regulatory requirements throughout the construction lifecycle. Collaborate with engineering, quality, validation, and operations teams to support integrated project delivery. Promote robust safety culture, Monitor project performance, including cost control, scheduling, risk management, and reporting to senior stakeholders. Review and manage construction documentation, including drawings, specifications, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages. Support procurement and contract management activities, ensuring alignment with project scope and budget. Lead project meetings, providing clear communication and leadership across all stakeholders.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience). 15+ years of construction management experience, with significant focus on pharmaceutical or life sciences projects. Demonstrated experience delivering large, complex, high-value projects ( $200M+) through commissioning and validation. Strong knowledge of GMP environments, cleanroom construction, and regulatory compliance requirements. Proven ability to manage multidisciplinary teams and multiple contractors on complex job sites. Expertise in project scheduling tools (e.g., Primavera P6, MS Project) and cost management practices. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

From $140,000.00 per year
