This role is responsible for managing client relationships, overseeing project delivery, guiding technical teams, and ensuring projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Key Responsibilities Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and maintain strong, long-term professional relationships. Lead project planning efforts, including scope development, budgeting, scheduling, resource allocation, and contract coordination. Oversee project execution to ensure deliverables meet technical requirements, quality expectations, and client objectives. Provide leadership and direction to engineers, designers, surveyors, and project staff throughout all phases of a project. Monitor financial performance, project timelines, and staffing needs to support successful project outcomes. Identify opportunities for additional work with existing clients and contribute to business development initiatives. Support team growth through mentoring, performance coaching, and professional development. Collaborate with leadership on operational planning, resource management, and strategic initiatives. Qualifications Education Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Land Surveying, Planning, or a related discipline. Licensure Professional Engineer (PE) or Professional Land Surveyor (PLS) license preferred. Equivalent registration in another state or additional industry experience may be considered. Experience 10+ years of progressively responsible experience managing projects within civil engineering, land surveying, planning, or related consulting environments. Core Competencies Strong background in project delivery, client management, and team leadership. Experience developing project budgets, schedules, contracts, and proposals. Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high standards of quality and client service. Excellent communication, relationship-building, and problem-solving skills. Experience leading multidisciplinary teams and mentoring technical professionals. Familiarity with project management, budgeting, scheduling, and design software platforms.
