This role works closely with the Superintendent and Project Management team to help maintain project schedules, subcontractor coordination, safety, and quality control. Projects may include education, civic, office, retail, hospitality, healthcare, tenant improvement, and ground-up commercial developments. Key Responsibilities Support day-to-day field operations on commercial construction projects Assist with subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and daily site activities Help maintain 3-week look-ahead schedule s and project sequencing Support jobsite safety and enforce OSHA and company safety standards Review drawings and specifications to assist with upcoming work planning Coordinate inspections, deliveries, and material staging Track project progress, punch list items, and quality control issues Participate in subcontractor meetings, daily huddles, and coordination meetings Maintain daily reports, field documentation, and project logs Assist with project closeout including punch lists and final inspections Support work in occupied environments, phased projects, or active campuses as needed Requirements 3-7 years of construction experience with a general contractor Experience supporting commercial construction projects including ground-up or renovations Strong understanding of scheduling, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills Ability to work in fast-paced construction environments Preferred Experience with education, healthcare, hospitality, office, civic, or TI projects Familiarity with design-build, negotiated work, or construction management delivery methods Experience with Procore, Bluebeam, or scheduling software OSHA 30 certification preferred Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid holidays and PTO Long-term growth into Superintendent roles Stable pipeline of commercial projects
