Job Description:

As a Foreman at Cornerstone Construction Company, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating construction activities on-site. Reporting directly to the Director of Construction, you will lead and manage a team of construction workers and subcontractors to ensure projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.

Responsibilities:

Supervise daily construction activities, including scheduling, coordinating, and directing subcontractors and laborers. Ensure adherence to project plans, schedules, specifications, and safety standards, maintaining high levels of quality and craftsmanship while driving project completions. Conduct regular inspections and quality control checks to verify work meets established standards and contractual requirements. Coordinate with project managers and other stakeholders to resolve issues and ensure efficient workflow. Provide leadership and mentorship to construction teams, fostering a culture of safety, teamwork, and high productivity. Monitor project progress and performance, identifying risks and opportunities for acceleration and improvement. Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including daily reports, progress photos, and inventory logs. Enforce compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and building codes. Assist in the hiring and training of construction personnel, ensuring the team is skilled and capable of meeting project demands.

Qualifications:

Minimum of 5 years of experience in construction, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role. Proven track record of successfully managing commercial, public works and residential construction projects. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and manage diverse teams. Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and safety protocols. Familiarity with construction management software and tools. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications. OSHA 30-Hour certification preferred. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.

Compensation:

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour, depending on experience and productivity.
