The program is intended to encourage a culture of learning by providing students with the knowledge, skills, and resources for academic and personal success. Programming may occur inside or outside of the classroom during expanded learning hours. A Site Director is responsible for the planning, implementation, and oversight of programming, including the supervision of program staff who work directly with students. Under supervision from the Area Program Manager, a Site Director trains and evaluates staff, and works closely with school administration, faculty, parents, and students to ensure that programming meets the needs of the school and its students as well as the policies of the California and/or Federal Department of Education.
