  • Full-time Overview Project Partners is seeking an experienced Construction Manager / Construction Project Engineer to support major wastewater infrastructure and public works construction projects within Los Angeles County.
This role offers valuable public sector construction management experience working on complex wastewater and sewer rehabilitation projects.
Projects may include:
Sewer construction and rehabilitation (slip lining and cured-in-place (CIPP) methods) Wastewater treatment plant projects Pumping and lift station improvements Construction Manager / Construction Project Engineer Duties and Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Oversee wastewater construction activities to ensure compliance with plans, specifications, safety standards, and project objectives Review contractor work, schedules, change orders, and cost proposals Investigate and resolve construction and engineering issues in the field Monitor project schedules, budgets, and construction progress Prepare pay estimates, project documentation, and monthly progress reports Coordinate with contractors, consultants, agencies, and internal stakeholders Evaluate impacts to operations and recommend construction adjustments as needed Support successful delivery of capital improvement and infrastructure rehabilitation projects Construction Manager /
Construction Project Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering field 5+ years of experience in construction management, construction engineering, or public works projects Experience with sewer rehabilitation projects involving slip lining and cured-in-place pipe (CIPP) installation required Experience with wastewater facilities, sewer rehabilitation, lift stations, and pipeline construction preferred Experience with scheduling, cost estimating, construction administration, and contractor coordination California PE license preferred Strong communication, problem-solving, and project coordination skills Candidates must be legally authorized to work permanently in the U.S. (i.e., without time limitations, without restrictions or without need for work sponsorship in the U.S.) Valid CA Driver's License and proof of insurance Must be able to commute to Los Angeles, CA. Relocation assistance is not provided. Some night work and overtime may be required based on project needs Why Join Project Partners?
