Construction Superintendent 13006 Philadelphia Street, Whittier, CA 90601 $32

  • Full-time Experienced Commercial Construction Superintendent to run Tenant Improvement and Ground Up projects in the Southern California area.
Candidate must be able to work night shifts from time to time depending on project requirements. The position requires to be open to learning, disciplined and systems driven, detail-oriented, comfortable working independently, and have a genuine interest in helping team members with a positive and pro-active attitude. Your primary objective is to provide SE Builders Construction Co. with successful projects by assisting in assuring the efficient use of materials, labor, equipment and contractors to complete a project on schedule, within budget, and in accordance with the required quality, and in a manner consistent with appropriate safety standards.
IDEAL QUALIFICATIONS
3-years Experience with Commercial Construction OSHA-10-hour Certificate Excellent attention to details and facility with numbers. OSHPD Experience is Desirable but not Required Good judgment, logic, and ability to learn new things Computer Proficiency (excel, word, dropbox) Established/Demonstrable Communication Skills, teamwork and organizational skills. Comprehensive Knowledge of Building Systems Works Well in Fast Paced Environment Bachelor's Degree Preferred but not necessary Clean Driving Record with Reliable Transportation Quality References from Similar Previous Employers
TYPICAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform Project Start-Up and Mobilization Schedule and Coordinate Subcontractors Maintain and Audit Job-Site Safety Program and IIPP Perform Quality Assurance Management Daily Monitor and Maintain Job-Site Cleanliness Schedule and Staff Inspections Attend O.A.C. Meetings Weekly Generate RFI's, Observations', PCO's Produce Detailed and Comprehensive Daily Construction Reports Work Closely with Project Manager to Monitor Project Financials Work Closely with subcontractors to Maintain Symbiotic Relationships Review shop drawings and submittals to insure proper coordination of the work Monitor and Report Internal Manpower Needs Provide Weekly Look-Ahead Forecast to update schedule and schedule subcontractors
