Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) CenCore - 3.2 Aurora, CO Job Details Full-time 7 hours ago Qualifications Access control systems Record keeping Facility security measures implementation Physical surveillance High school diploma or GED Security system monitoring (security system operation) Security escort duties Access control management Full Job Description CenCore is seeking a Construction Surveillance Technician (CST) to support secure manufacturing, production, and deployment operations for portable and modular Sensitive Compartmented Information Facilities (SCIFs). In this role, you will monitor work activity, controlled access areas, materials, personnel, and production-related security requirements to help ensure compliance with security procedures, construction standards, ICD-705 expectations, and approved project specifications. Key Responsibilities Conduct continuous surveillance of secure manufacturing, production, and construction-related activities to verify compliance with security protocols and approved project requirements. Monitor and support access control processes to help ensure only authorized personnel enter controlled or restricted work areas. Observe personnel, contractors, vendors, materials, tools, equipment, and work activities for potential security concerns, safety concerns, or process deviations. Identify, document, and report security incidents, suspicious activity, procedural violations, safety concerns, and non-compliance issues to the appropriate stakeholders. Maintain accurate daily logs, observation reports, incident records, visitor documentation, and other required site security records. Coordinate with site security, manufacturing, production, construction, logistics, engineering, quality, and program leadership to resolve issues quickly and maintain mission continuity. Perform routine checks of work areas, materials, and activity zones to support secure production, construction security, and site compliance requirements. Provide regular updates to site leadership, security personnel, and project stakeholders regarding site status, observed risks, and required follow-up actions. Promote safe work practices and support adherence to site safety protocols, PPE requirements, and secure manufacturing expectations. Required Qualifications U.S. Citizenship required; must provide a valid U.S. Passport Book or Passport Card. Minimum of 3 years of Construction Surveillance Technician (CST), construction security, secure facility, physical security, or related experience. Current DOS CST Certification preferred. High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education or certifications in construction management, security, safety, or a related field preferred. Experience supporting construction surveillance, secure manufacturing, SCIF production, secure facility builds, controlled area operations, or cleared work environments. Knowledge of security protocols, access control procedures, visitor control, escort requirements, and secure construction or production practices. Strong observational, documentation, analytical, and record-keeping skills. Excellent attention to detail and effective verbal and written communication skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced secure manufacturing or construction-like environment. Ability to use surveillance tools, reporting systems, communication devices, access logs, and related site security technology. Familiarity with SCIF construction, modular secure facilities, ICD-705 requirements, or secure production processes is preferred. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting portable or modular SCIF production, SCIF construction, secure facility manufacturing, or related program activities. Prior CST experience on government, defense, intelligence community, secure manufacturing, or cleared construction projects. Background supporting government contracts, cleared facilities, modular SCIF builds, secure manufacturing, or defense-related production environments. First Aid, CPR, AED, OSHA, safety, or construction-related certifications preferred. Active Secret , Top Secret , or TS/SCI clearance preferred. Physical Requirements Ability to work in a manufacturing, production, or construction-like environment. Ability to stand, walk, inspect work areas, and move through active production spaces for extended periods. Ability to wear required PPE as directed. Ability to lift or move safety supplies and equipment as needed. Ability to work around tools, equipment, materials, machinery, and contractors while following all safety requirements.
