Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized, technical, and experienced Construction Project Manager for exterior facades and non-façade systems to join our team. In this role, you will lead projects from design-assist through fabrication, installation, and final closeout. The ideal candidate ensures projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget while delivering exceptional quality. Key Responsibilities:
Project Leadership:
Manage all phases of exterior renovation/construction projects, ensuring compliance with specifications and construction documents. Technical Coordination:
Collaborate with architects, engineers, and fabricators to finalize designs. Scheduling & Logistics:
Develop & communicate detailed project schedules, coordinating material deliveries, installations, and subcontractor workflows to avoid delays. Budgeting & Financials:
Create project estimates, manage budgets, process change orders, and approve subcontractor invoices. Site Management:
Conduct regular site visits to monitor installation quality, safety compliance, and progress. Client Relations:
Serve as the primary point of contact for customers, providing regular updates on project status. You will be dealing with:
Take-offs & Optimization:
Calculating exactly how much material is needed from the drawings to minimize waste. Schedule of Values (SOV): Creating a detailed list of every work item and its cost, which is used to bill the client as the job progresses. Job Costing:
Tracking actual spending against the original estimate to ensure the project doesn't go over budget. Experience:
2-5+ years of project management experience in the commercial construction industry. Willing to train the right candidate with less experience. Technical knowledge:
In-depth understanding of cladding systems, waterproofing, building envelopes, and interior wall construction Software Proficiency:
Experience with Bluebeam, Autodesk, Smartsheets, and construction management software (e.g., Procore, Fieldwire, BuilderTrend). Education:
Bachelor's degree in construction management preferred. Skills:
