Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Heavy-Highway Civil Construction Foreman/Superintendent to lead and oversee civil and infrastructure projects. In this role, you will be responsible for managing construction crews, ensuring safety compliance, maintaining project schedules, and delivering high-quality results on time and within budget. Your leadership will drive project success from planning through completion, fostering a culture of safety, efficiency, and excellence on every job site. Duties Supervise daily operations on civil construction sites Coordinate and schedule subcontractors, suppliers and vendors Work with Project Managers to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget Ensure strict adherence to OSHA safety standards and company safety policies; conduct regular safety meetings and inspections. Read and interpret blueprints, utilize GPS systems and verify grades Utilize Heavy Job to ensure daily time, notes, photos and quantitates are correct and accurate Oversee quality control measures by inspecting work quality, materials, and workmanship; implement corrective actions as needed. Maintain detailed documentation including daily reports, incident logs, change orders, and contract compliance records. Operate heavy equipment as needed Requirements Proven experience supervising Heavy-Highway or Civil Construction Projects with a strong understanding of construction management principles. Extensive knowledge of construction site safety regulations including OSHA standards. Proficient in using Heavy Job and Microsoft programs. Strong skills in blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction documents Supervisory experience leading diverse teams on large-scale infrastructure projects. Familiarity with contracts management and budgeting processes within the construction industry. Strong organizational, self-motivation, and time management skills Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members, customers and management. Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
