Full Job Description Project Manager Location:
Englewood, CO Must-Have Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience 5+ years of project management experience in engineering, construction, or industrial environments Proven experience managing budgets, schedules, and multi-phase projects Strong background in client-facing roles and stakeholder management Experience with contract negotiation, administration, and change orders Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, MS Project and/or Primavera Ability to lead cross-functional teams (engineering, procurement, construction) Strong understanding of project planning, cost control, and risk management Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead complex engineering and construction projects from initiation through completion. This role is responsible for client communication, project planning, budget management, and execution , ensuring all deliverables are completed on time and within scope. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment and brings strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills. Key Responsibilities Client & Stakeholder Management Serve as the primary point of contact for clients Provide regular updates on project status, milestones, and deliverables Build and maintain strong client relationships Project Planning & Execution Develop and manage comprehensive project plans , including scope, schedule, budget, and resources Assemble and lead project teams, including internal staff and external partners Establish key project elements such as: Health & Safety Plan Quality Plan Risk Management Plan Communication Plan Staffing Plan Monitor project performance and proactively address risks and issues Contracts & Financial Management Lead contract negotiations with clients and vendors Manage contract administration, including change orders Develop and track project budgets, cash flow, and cost allocations Ensure financial performance aligns with project goals Project Administration & Coordination Coordinate activities across engineering, procurement, and accounting teams Lead project meetings and ensure accurate reporting and documentation Monitor progress across all phases (engineering, procurement, construction) Provide regular updates to executive leadership Team Leadership Provide direction and support to project team members Monitor performance and ensure accountability across all functions Facilitate collaboration and resource alignment Preferred Qualifications Master's degree in Business, Engineering, or related field P.E. license (preferred) Experience in design-build, mining, or bulk material handling projects Familiarity with lump sum contracts and contract law principles Multilingual capabilities (a plus) Key Skills Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills High attention to detail and ability to manage complex documentation Solid understanding of critical path scheduling and project controls Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Why Join Lead high-impact, large-scale engineering and construction projects Work cross-functionally with experienced technical teams High-visibility role with direct influence on project success Opportunity to grow within a dynamic and collaborative environment If you're a results-driven Project Manager with strong technical and leadership experience, this is an excellent opportunity to take ownership of complex projects and deliver measurable results.Similar remote jobs
