$130,000 - $175,000 + Bonus + Full Benefits Join a Leading Multifamily Construction Team in Colorado A respected and rapidly growing general contractor specializing in multifamily residential construction , wood-frame apartments , and commercial development projects is actively seeking an experienced Senior Construction Superintendent to lead a high-profile ground-up multifamily development in Grand Junction, Colorado . This is an excellent opportunity for a hands-on Superintendent with strong experience in multifamily construction management , field leadership, scheduling, safety compliance, and project delivery. The ideal candidate will have a proven background managing large-scale apartment, podium, mixed-use, or commercial construction projects from preconstruction through final turnover. Senior Superintendent Job Responsibilities As the onsite leader, the Superintendent will oversee all daily field operations and ensure the project is completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. Key Responsibilities Manage all phases of ground-up multifamily construction projects from sitework through project completion Lead and coordinate subcontractors, field crews, vendors, and construction personnel onsite Develop, maintain, and drive the master construction schedule to meet critical project milestones Ensure compliance with all OSHA regulations , local building codes, safety requirements, and company standards Conduct daily safety meetings, enforce site safety protocols, and maintain a zero-incident culture Review RFIs, submittals, shop drawings, punch lists, and change orders throughout the project lifecycle Monitor project quality control for wood-frame multifamily and commercial construction scopes Collaborate closely with Project Managers, Owners, Architects, Engineers, and Inspectors Identify and resolve construction issues proactively to minimize delays and cost impacts Maintain accurate project reporting, daily logs, scheduling updates, and field documentation Lead project turnover, final inspections, and closeout processes Qualifications & ExperienceRequired Qualifications 5+ years of experience as a Construction Superintendent on multifamily, mixed-use, or commercial construction projects Strong background in wood-frame multifamily construction , podium projects, or large apartment developments Extensive knowledge of construction means and methods, scheduling, inspections, and safety regulations Proven ability to deliver projects on time and within budget Excellent leadership, communication, and subcontractor management skills OSHA 30 Certification required Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Preferred Qualifications Experience working on projects in Colorado or familiarity with Colorado building codes and permitting processes Experience with construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or MS Project Additional safety certifications or field leadership training Previous experience managing high-density multifamily or mixed-use developments Compensation & Benefits Competitive base salary: $140,000 - $175,000 annually Performance-based bonuses Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) with company match Paid time off and company holidays Vehicle allowance or company vehicle program Career advancement opportunities with a growing construction firm Ongoing training and professional development Job Details Position:
