THE ROLE
BUILD
CIVIL REVENUE. WIN WORK.
Fortress is hiring a Business Development Manager to drive growth in our Civil Construction division, focused on commercial site development, municipal/public infrastructure, utilities, grading, roadwork, and earthwork. This is a revenue-producing role responsible for identifying and winning civil construction work, supporting pre-construction and estimating strategy, and building a strong, repeatable pipeline.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Civil Market Growth:
Identify and pursue civil construction opportunities Track bid opportunities and upcoming projects Build relationships with developers, municipalities, engineers, and general contractors
Pre-Construction & Estimating Alignment:
Support estimating efforts (scope review, quantities, vendor coordination) Read and interpret plans and specifications Assist in scopes, schedules, and execution strategy
Pipeline & Revenue Ownership:
Build and maintain sales strategy and pipeline Lead proposal and bid strategy Own deals through close and transition to operations
