Project Manager -
Manufacturing & Data Center Installation:
Build Complex Projects. Lead Multiple Trades. Deliver Excellence. We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to oversee the execution of large-scale manufacturing and installation projects serving the rapidly growing data center industry. Our products are manufactured in multiple facilities and installed at customer sites across North America, requiring strong leadership, exceptional organization, and a relentless focus on execution. This is a high-impact role for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment, can manage multiple projects simultaneously, and understands how to coordinate manufacturing, procurement, logistics, subcontractors, and field installation teams to deliver projects on time, on budget, and with exceptional quality. What You'll Do Following the project handoff from Sales and the Pre-Construction Kickoff Meeting, you will assume full ownership of project execution from engineering release through final customer acceptance. Responsibilities include:
Manage multiple projects simultaneously from kickoff through closeout Develop and maintain detailed project schedules Coordinate activities across multiple manufacturing facilities Drive engineering releases and ensure timely execution of design deliverables Manage procurement activities and long-lead material requirements Source and manage subcontractors for field installation activities Coordinate logistics, transportation, and site deliveries Monitor project budgets, labor performance, and overall financial health Manage progress billing, invoicing, and customer payment milestones Develop and maintain project cash flow forecasts Process and negotiate change orders Lead project status meetings with customers and internal stakeholders Identify project risks and implement recovery plans when necessary Ensure projects meet customer requirements, quality standards, and contractual obligations Support installation activities at active data center construction sites Provide regular executive-level project reporting Project Scope Includes Projects may involve multiple disciplines, including: Structural steel fabrication and installation Welding and metal fabrication Electrical systems Mechanical systems Plumbing systems Architectural finishes Modular construction Mission-critical data center infrastructure What We're Looking For 5+ years of Project Management experience in manufacturing, industrial construction, modular construction, mission-critical facilities, or related industries Strong understanding of project scheduling, procurement, and subcontractor management Experience managing projects with multiple trades and stakeholders Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications Financial acumen, including budgeting, forecasting, cost tracking, and progress billing Experience managing change orders and contract administration Excellent customer-facing communication skills Strong organizational and problem-solving abilities Ability to prioritize and manage multiple concurrent projects Proficiency with ERP systems, Microsoft Project, Excel, and project management software Preferred Qualifications PMP certification Experience with data center, mission-critical, or modular construction projects Manufacturing project management experience Knowledge of structural steel fabrication and installation Experience managing projects exceeding $1M in value Travel Some travel is required to manufacturing facilities, customer sites, and active construction projects.
