Construction Project Manager RLK Custom Builders Greenwood Village, CO Job Details Full-time $100,000 - $135,000 a year 8 hours ago Benefits Health insurance 401(k) Paid time off Qualifications Customer communication Coordinating with subcontractors on construction projects Construction team management Relationship management Leadership Full Job Description Job Summary The Project Manager (PM) is the project leader responsible for delivering RLK custom homes with excellence, predictability, and professionalism. PMs own the schedule, budget, client communication, documentation, and overall project strategy. The Project Manager is responsible for overseeing multiple aspects of the project life cycle, from initial planning and permitting through final punch-list completion. This role works closely with clients, subcontractors, architects, and the internal team to ensure high quality execution, timely delivery, and a positive client experience. Responsibilities Project Planning & Coordination
  • Review project contract documents, plans, and client requests to ensure all specifications are clearly understood and addressed internally and externally, both before and during construction
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project schedules
  • Communicate major schedule updates to clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders Budget Management
  • Review contract details and client selections to ensure alignment with the approved budget
  • Manage changes related to unforeseen conditions, client requests, or scope modifications
  • Verify subcontractor and vendor costs against the project budget and support timely payment processing
  • Communicate major budget updates to clients and internal stakeholders Client Relations
  • Conduct weekly client calls or Teams meetings to provide project updates
  • Discuss selections, open items, and outstanding issues from the To-Do or weekly update list
  • Maintain proactive, professional, and transparent communication with clients throughout the project
  • Maintain detailed project records to support accountability Qualifications
  • Experience managing residential new construction and renovation projects
  • Strong understanding of construction drawings, contract documents, schedules, budgets, and subcontractor coordination
  • Experience using project management software
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and stakeholders simultaneously
  • Strong communication, organization, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to maintain professionalism and accountability in client-facing situations Core Competencies
