Full Job Description Job Title:
General Manager•
Roofing & Exteriors Location:
Northern Colorado, Front Range Compensation:
Base Salary + Commission + Profit Sharing + Equity Potential + Company Vehicle We're building a different kind of Roofing & Exteriors company, one rooted in craftsmanship, accountability, and operational excellence. This isn't a "keep the trains moving" role. With a $1M backlog already in place, we need a builder: someone ready to establish scalable systems, lead teams, drive profitable growth, and thrive equally in the field and the office. If you love solving problems, building relationships, and creating structure in a fast-paced environment, this role offers performance incentives and long-term ownership potential for the right operator.
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY DO
Run the day to day
  • Own every project from the sale to the final walkthrough
  • Build schedules, set standards, and make sure quality doesn't slip Bring in work
  • Go find relationships that turn into jobs. Property managers, realtors, homeowners, whoever needs good work done.
  • Build a pipeline and close deals. You get commission on what you sell. Lead the team
  • Hire good people. Train them. Hold them accountable.
  • Set a culture where people take ownership instead of making excuses. Watch the numbers
  • Know what's profitable and what isn't. Track revenue, margins, costs.
  • Work with ownership on where we go next. Keep customers happy
  • Communicate. Don't leave people guessing.
  • Fix problems before they get big.
Build a reputation for actually caring.
WHAT YOU NEED TO BRING
Non-negotiables:
  • You know roofing or exterior construction. This isn't a learn-on-the-job role.
  • You've managed crews and subs before. You know how to keep a job moving.
  • You're organized and you follow through. When you say you'll do something, it gets done.
  • You can talk to customers, lead a team, and hold people accountable in a professional way.
Nice to have:
  • Sales or business development experience
  • You've built systems or processes from scratch before
WHAT YOU GET OUT OF IT
  • A solid base salary
  • Commission on sales you bring in yourself
  • Profit sharing
  • Potential long term equity participation
  • A company vehicle This is for someone who wants more than a paycheck.
You want to build something and benefit from it. That's who we're looking for.
WHAT GOOD LOOKS LIKE IN THE FIRST 90 DAYS
  • Basic systems are in place. Scheduling, quality checks, communication.
  • Projects are actually running on time and making money.
  • You've got solid relationships with vendors and subs.
  • There's a sales pipeline you can see and track.
  • Everyone knows who's responsible for what.
WHY THIS ISN'T LIKE EVERY OTHER ROOFING JOB
We're not trying to be the biggest. We're trying to be the best run.
That means:
  • Long term relationships, not one-and-done jobs
  • Doing things the right way even when no one's watching
  • White glove service in an industry that doesn't always do that
  • A business someone actually wants to own long term If you just want a title and a place to manage tasks, this probably isn't for you.
If you want to build something, lead people, and have real upside. Let's talk.
