Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to lead field operations and drive project success from the ground up. This role is critical in ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will serve as the on-site leader, coordinating all trades, managing subcontractors, and acting as the key point of execution for project teams and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities Site Leadership:

Oversee all on-site construction activities, ensuring alignment with plans, specifications, and schedules

Safety Management:

Enforce OSHA standards and company safety protocols; lead by example in maintaining a zero-incident culture

Team Coordination:

Direct subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure efficient workflow and accountability

Schedule & Budget Execution:

Track project progress, proactively address delays, and maintain alignment with project timelines and financial targets

Quality Assurance:

Conduct inspections to ensure all work meets industry standards and client expectations

Stakeholder Communication:

Act as the on-site point of contact for project managers, clients, and leadership, providing clear updates and solutions

Problem Resolution:

Identify risks early and implement practical solutions to keep projects moving forward

Reporting & Documentation:

Maintain accurate project documentation including daily logs, RFIs, and compliance records Qualifications Proven experience as a Superintendent on commercial construction projects Strong background in managing complex builds such as healthcare, manufacturing, clean rooms, or biopharma facilities preferred Deep understanding of construction methods, scheduling, and site logistics Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to drive performance and accountability on-site Experience managing change orders, RFIs, and subcontractor coordination Proficiency with tools such as Procore, Sage, Bluebeam, or similar OSHA certification preferred; PMP certification is a plus Compensation & Benefits Competitive salary based on experience Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage Paid time off and company holidays Retirement savings plan options Ongoing training and professional development opportunities Opportunity to work on cutting-edge, technically advanced projects Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Brookfield, CT. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $180000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
