  • Job Description The Assistant Super is responsible for: Onsite daily in Newington CT Enforcing and supporting jobsite safety and security compliance Assisting in executing QA/QC processes Coordinating subcontractor activities through onboarding, daily work planning, deliveries, housekeeping, manpower tracking, and scope adherence Supporting daily field operations by coordinating schedules, documentation, and issue resolution to maintain productivity, quality, and schedule Providing field leadership by supporting the Lead Superintendent, maintaining strong trade relationships, mentoring staff, and fostering a collaborative jobsite environment MPI does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, age, disability, veteran status, marital status, or based on an individual's status in any group or class protected by applicable federal, state or local law.

The Successful Applicant The right Assistant Super has the following qualifications: 3-7+ years of Assistant Superintendent / Field experience with a Commercial GC Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field Strong working knowledge of construction means, methods, sequencing, and subcontractor coordination Experience working on projects $20M+ (ideally wood frame multifamily) Familiarity with jobsite safety standards, OSHA requirements, and
NFPA 241
compliance Ability to read and interpret drawings, specifications, shop drawings, and schedules Experience with QA/QC processes, inspections, punch lists, and field documentation Proficiency with construction management software such as Procore and PlanGrid Strong communication, organization, and teamwork skills with the ability to support a Lead Superintendent What's on Offer The Assistant Super will receive: Competitive Base salary up to $130K Gas card Vehicle allowance or truck Health benefits 401(k) Match Contributions and Profit Sharing Employee Referral Program Annual Bonus Paid Time Off Best in class Training and Development
