Job Description

Group Home Assistant Manager Eligible employees may receive up to $1000 Retention Bonus after 8 months of service! RMS is a nonprofit organization that has served adults with developmental/intellectual disabilities in CT for the past 30 plus years. We are looking for a qualified, compassionate Group Home Assistant Manager to work in our Wallingford area program. The Assistant Manager supports the Manager in ensuring that the residential program is in compliance with DDS regulation and RMS policies and procedures. You will work under the direction of the Manager and provide supervision and training for employees and any other duties designated by the Manager and the Area Director. Requirements Valid CT Driver's License, good driving record and available means of transportation Good communication skills and the ability to maintain detailed documentation Bachelor's or Associate's degree and at least one year of experience in the Human Services field or a High School Diploma or GED with at least two years experience in the Human Services field Ability to lift and transfer up to 30lbs First Aid / CPR, PMT and DDS Med Certified is a plus RMS is an

Develop and implement individualized care plans for residents, focusing on their unique needs. Maintain accurate documentation and manage budgets effectively. Foster a supportive environment, promoting residents' rights and dignity while addressing their physical and emotional needs. Ensure proper medication administration and adherence to safety protocols.
