Job Description
The Construction Coordinator will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating various construction projects within our telecommunications network. This role involves planning, scheduling, and managing construction activities to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. The ideal candidate will have strong organizational skills, excellent communication abilities, and a solid understanding of construction processes and telecommunications infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
Plan, coordinate, and oversee construction activities for telecommunications projects, including site preparation, installation, and maintenance of network infrastructure. Develop and maintain project schedules, ensuring that all phases of construction are completed on time. Monitor project budgets, track expenses, and report any variances to ensure projects remain within budget. Ensure that all construction work meets the company's quality standards and complies with industry regulations and safety standards. Coordinate with contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of materials and services. Obtain necessary permits and ensure all construction activities comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Maintain accurate and up-to-date project documentation, including plans, permits, schedules, and progress reports. Identify and resolve any issues or obstacles that may arise during the construction process. Serve as the primary point of contact between the company and construction teams, providing regular updates to management and stakeholders.Qualifications:
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Telecommunications, or a related field preferred.Experience:
Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in construction coordination, preferably within the telecommunications industry.Technical Skills:
Proficiency in project management software and tools. Knowledge of telecommunications infrastructure and construction methods.Certifications:
Relevant certifications in construction management or telecommunications are a plus.Communication:
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Organizational Skills:
Strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Problem-Solving:
