Job Description

Schedule/Hours:
Full-time; 11:00 PM - 9:00 AM Thursday - Saturday This position is responsible for: Under the direction of the Workforce Development Program Manager, the Housing Monitor performs a wide variety of functions to ensure the support, safety, security and well-being of the Turning Point Center participants and the physical building to assure compliance with established Salvation Army policies and procedures. Incumbent serves as over-night point-of-contact for participants, answers telephones, monitors receptionist desk and security cameras.
Key Responsibilities:
Housing Monitoring Duties Administrative Support Recordkeeping Physical Requirements and Working Conditions:
Duties are usually performed seated with brief periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, lifting and carrying (less than 25 lbs.) 5-10% of work time. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. Work is performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts, occasionally work may be performed off-site and can be associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like. High school diploma or
G.E.D. AND
Six months of experience working in a residential setting. AND Additional higher education in a social services or related field, OR Any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Bon-a-fide Occupational Qualification (BFOQ): This position requires a biological female.
