This role is responsible for managing subcontractors, controlling costs, maintaining job site efficiency, and ensuring projects are completed on time and within budget. The ideal candidate is field-oriented, highly organized, and proactive—someone who can take ownership of multiple builds and keep everything moving without constant oversight. Key ResponsibilitiesProject & Field Management Oversee multiple new construction residential projects from pre-construction through completion Ensure all job sites are progressing on schedule and within budget Conduct regular site visits to monitor progress, quality, and safety Maintain clean, organized job sites (dumpsters, debris removal, overall presentation) Subcontractor Management Source, interview, and vet subcontractors across all trades Build and maintain a reliable network of subcontractors Coordinate and schedule subcontractors to ensure efficient workflow Hold subs accountable for timelines, quality, and scope of work Estimating & Cost Control Gather, review, and present estimates from subcontractors and vendors Assist in budgeting and cost analysis for each project Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality Track expenses and flag any potential budget overruns Permitting & Coordination Assist with permitting processes and follow up with municipalities Ensure all work complies with local building codes and regulations Coordinate inspections and ensure timely approvals Vendor & Material Coordination Coordinate with material suppliers to ensure timely delivery Verify materials meet project specifications Prevent delays by proactively managing procurement timelines Qualifications 3+ years of experience managing residential new construction projects Strong knowledge of construction processes, sequencing, and trades Proven ability to manage multiple job sites simultaneously Experience sourcing and managing subcontractors Strong negotiation and cost control skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred Existing network ("Rolodex") of reliable subcontractors is a strong plus Key Traits for Success Highly organized with strong attention to detail Assertive and able to hold subcontractors accountable Proactive problem solver who doesn't wait for direction Strong communication and leadership skills Field-focused with a sense of urgency Compensation Competitive base salary + performance-based incentives Opportunity for growth with a rapidly expanding construction pipeline
