Job Description
To oversee the construction phase of the home-buying process providing the homeowner with a legendary positive experience. This will be accomplished in conformance with quality standards using ethical work practices, observing all applicable government laws and regulations and company policies. This position will strive to meet the following objectives:
Homeowner will receive Certificate of Occupancy
All jobs will come in at or below budget. Essential Job Functions (Not intended to be inclusive):
Provide quick efficient construction services to homeowners.
Conform to all safety standards and requirements to avoid personal or property injury.
Conform to all Company policies relating to business travel.
Extend every courtesy due to our homeowners.
Complete all paperwork legibly and accurately.
Actively contribute to the Company's quest for continuous quality improvement.
Protect the interests of the shareholders
Additional Job Functions:
Perform other duties as assigned by company management.
Relationships:
Communicate to and work cooperatively with plant management, retail sales centers, co-workers, contractors, building officials and homeowners.
Provide prompt, efficient service to customers.
Required Essential Capabilities:
You must be able to walk, climb, lift loads of at least 50 lbs. and perform such other physical duties as may be necessary to carry out the job functions described above.
You must be able to communicate efficiently and clearly with customers, peers, and supervisors verbally (both in person and via phone) and in writing. Such communication includes the ability to read and understand building terms, architectural and engineering drawings and specifications.
Your product and technical knowledge or ability to learn such must be adequate to perform the job functions listed above. Construction knowledge must be sufficient to problem solve substantial opportunities on-site.
Have very good interpersonal skills and a high tolerance for stress. Should be able to resolve conflicts in a fair, reasonable and professional manner.
Have a strong customer orientation that includes empathy for the customer.
Your MVR report must meet the requirements set forth in the SOP.
Your criminal background report must be free of convictions that would prevent bonding.
