Job Description
We are a growing South Florida roofing contractor seeking a Pre-Construction Coordinator to support our estimating and bidding team. This role focuses on bid preparation, permitting, and technical document review. Responsibilities Prepare and track bid packages and deadlines Complete prequalification packages as needed Once a project is sold, create an internal job folder, Job Book, and gather all documents pertaining to permitting. Obtain all color confirmations, HOA approvals, and any other forms or documents required to properly enter the job. Set up the Job, budget, and schedule of values in the ERP software. Prompt accounting to issue Deposit invoice. Clean up and organize all files for the job within Job Nimbus, server file, company cam, etc. Assemble and submit permit applications (Miami-Dade, Broward, Palm Beach (local municipalities) Track permit review status and respond to any comments within a day. When permit is ready for issuance, Submit payment and prompt accounting for permit fee billing. Read and interpret plans, specs, and blueprints Review roofing scope and manufacturer requirements (NOAs, product approvals) Maintain organized logs and documentation Requirements 2+ years in roofing or construction (pre-construction/estimating preferred) Knowledge of South Florida permitting and roofing systems Ability to read construction drawings and specifications Familiarity with NOAs and manufacturer details Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Bluebeam a plus) Benefits Health, dental, vision, and life insurance Paid time off (PTO) and company holidays Growth opportunity within a stable, fast-paced company
