We are seeking an experienced Construction Office Manager to join our team and play a key role in managing the financial and administrative operations of our company. This position offers the opportunity to work directly with company leadership in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. The ideal candidate will have strong construction accounting experience, exceptional organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple responsibilities while maintaining a high level of accuracy and professionalism.
Key Responsibilities:
Accounting & Financial Management Maintain accurate general ledger accounts and financial records Process accounts payable, vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and credit card transactions Perform monthly bank and credit card reconciliations Prepare monthly financial reports and supporting schedules for management review Monitor accounts, vendor balances, and project-related expenditures Assist with year-end accounting, audits, and tax preparation requirements Maintain organized accounting records and supporting documentation Payroll & Human Resources Process weekly payroll for field and office employees Maintain employee records, onboarding documentation, and payroll files Ensure compliance with payroll reporting requirements and company policies Coordinate employee benefits administration and personnel documentation Office Administration Manage day-to-day office operations and administrative functions Maintain vendor files, insurance certificates, licenses, and project documentation Coordinate communication between accounting, operations, project management, and ownership Support management with reporting, scheduling, and special projects Qualifications Minimum 3 years of construction bookkeeping or accounting experience Experience with job costing, project budgets, subcontractor payments, and construction financial reporting Proficiency with QuickBooks Online and Bill.com required Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, reconciliations, and financial statements Experience processing payroll and maintaining employee records Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving abilities Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills High level of accuracy, professionalism, and attention to detail
Compensation & Benefits Salary:
