Preconstruction Manager - South Florida Vertical Construction HV Talent Group - 1.0 Doral, FL Job Details Full-time $110,000 - $180,000 a year 3 days ago Benefits Health insurance Dental insurance 401(k) Paid time off Vision insurance Qualifications Project team coordination Customer communication Management Coordinating with subcontractors on construction projects Construction budget management Estimating construction project budgets Full Job Description About the Opportunity HV Talent Group is partnering with a well-established, rapidly growing construction organization seeking a dynamic Preconstruction Manager to help lead budgets, design-phase coordination, estimating workflows, procurement strategy, and client-facing preconstruction support across the company. This role becomes more important as organization grows into larger and more complex assignments. What this role will own Lead preconstruction efforts from pursuit through handoff, including budgets, design reviews, value engineering, milestone deliverables, and client communication. Manage estimating resources, outside pricing support, trade partner engagement, and scope alignment across packages. Identify constructability issues, cost drivers, long-lead risks, and schedule implications early. Develop procurement strategies, logistics assumptions, and budget narratives that set project teams up for success. Own the handoff process so awarded work begins with clarity rather than confusion. What strong candidates bring Strong preconstruction, estimating, or operations background with design-phase involvement on vertical construction. Confidence with owners, architects, consultants, and internal leadership. Pricing judgement, scope discipline, and constructability instincts. Ability to coordinate multi-party preconstruction processes and improve tools / templates as needed. Florida market knowledge and trade-partner network strongly preferred.​​​​​​​ Why this role matters This role strengthens the bridge between pursuit and execution, which becomes critical as project size and complexity grow.
Pay:
$110,000.00 - $180,000.00 per year

Do you have direct preconstruction or estimating experience on ground-up vertical construction projects (e.g., multifamily, mixed-use, commercial), not just renovations or TI work? Have you actively participated in the design phase, identifying constructability issues, cost drivers, and schedule impacts before construction begins? Have you managed trade partner outreach, bid leveling, scope alignment, and procurement strategy across multiple scopes or packages? Have you been directly responsible for ensuring a clear, structured handoff to operations/project teams, including scope clarity, budget alignment, and risk communication?
