Key Responsibilities Manage daily construction office operations, project documentation, permitting support, and administrative coordination. Read, interpret, and work confidently with blueprints, construction plans, specifications, and shop drawings. Assist with interior design selections, finish schedules, material coordination, and client presentations using your design experience. Build and maintain advanced Excel spreadsheets for project tracking, budgets, change orders, and reporting. Utilize construction management software and other tools to improve efficiency and organization. Support subcontractor communications, scheduling assistance, and overall project workflow. Maintain accurate records and filing systems while providing top-notch support to the owner and field teams. Requirements & Qualifications Construction office experience: Minimum 2 years working in a construction, contracting, or home building office environment.
Blueprint reading experience:
Proven ability to read and understand construction drawings.
Interior design experience:
Hands-on experience with interior selections, finishes, or client design coordination.
Excel experience:
Advanced in Microsoft Excel (formulas, data analysis, charts).
Software experience:
Familiarity with construction/project management software (Buildertrend, JobNimbus, Konstructiq, or other similar) and general office tools.
Attitude:
Energetic, self-motivated, proactive problem-solver with a positive "can-do" mindset and strong work ethic.
Excellence In:
Detailed oriented (details,details,details) communication, organization, and time-management skills. Knowledge of Florida permitting processes and local construction practices is a strong plus.
