$100,000 - $150,000Position OverviewMy client is a contractor throughout the southeast specializing in mechanical construction in commercial & industrial settings. We are seeking a superintendent for mechanical projects to lead field teams & help ensure high-quality service delivery to clients. This role involves coordinating with various parties in a construction setting, optimizing processes, and enhancing customer satisfaction.

Key ResponsibilitiesOversee day-to-day mechanical construction activities, ensuring work is completed on schedule and in compliance with project specifications.

Lead and mentor field crews, subcontractors, and craft personnel while fostering a culture of safety and accountability.

Coordinate with project managers, engineers, inspectors, and clients to maintain clear communication and resolve issues proactively.

Interpret mechanical drawings, plans, and specifications; ensure accurate installation of piping, equipment, and related systems.

Monitor productivity, material usage, and equipment needs; assist with planning and logistics to support project success.

Enforce safety policies, conduct jobsite audits, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

Maintain daily reports, progress documentation, and field records.

Qualifications5+ years of experience in mechanical construction, industrial utilities, or related fields, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.

Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, piping, pumps, utilities, and industrial installation practices.

Proven ability to lead field teams and manage subcontractors on active construction sites.

Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications.

OSHA training or equivalent safety certifications preferred.

Willingness to travel to project sites as needed.
