This paid internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in construction management, project coordination, and owner representation. You will work closely with project teams, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure that construction progresses smoothly, on schedule, and within budget. Your energetic approach and attention to detail will help shape vibrant living spaces for students while advancing your career in the construction industry. Duties Assist in managing day-to-day construction activities on-site, ensuring adherence to project plans and schedules Coordinate with contractors, subcontractors, and vendors to facilitate smooth communication and workflow Monitor construction progress using project management software such as ProCore, Primavera P6, or HeavyBid Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and contracts to verify compliance with design specifications Support project scheduling efforts by updating timelines and tracking milestones using Primavera or similar tools Conduct site inspections to ensure safety standards are maintained and quality control measures are followed Collaborate on budget tracking and cost estimation processes utilizing construction estimating tools Maintain detailed records of site activities, change orders, RFIs (Requests for Information), and daily reports Requirements Currently enrolled in a Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related program with a strong interest in real estate development and construction oversight Familiarity with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, or similar platforms Basic understanding of construction estimating, scheduling, and blueprint reading Experience with construction site operations and safety protocols is preferred Strong organizational skills with excellent time management abilities Ability to read schematics and interpret technical drawings accurately Knowledge of contracts, project coordination practices, and construction management principles Proficiency in using construction management tools like Civil 3D or HeavyBid is a plus Effective communication skills to liaise confidently with team members and stakeholders This paid internship is designed to empower aspiring professionals by providing meaningful exposure to the complexities of managing large-scale residential projects.
