Job Description:
Director of Land Development - Jacksonville, FL A large production homebuilder is seeking a Director of Land Development to oversee land development operations across the Jacksonville market. This person will manage projects from acquisition through finished lots, working closely with land acquisition, construction, engineering, municipalities, and trade partners.
Responsibilities:
Oversee site development, schedules, budgets, and project timelines Manage engineers, consultants, contractors, and municipalities Lead development from due diligence through final plat/finished lots Ensure projects stay on budget and meet delivery goals Support land acquisition with feasibility, cost estimates, and development strategy
Requirements:
Strong land development experience within production homebuilding Experience managing horizontal/site development projects Strong knowledge of Jacksonville/Northeast Florida market preferred Ability to manage budgets, schedules, consultants, and field teams Leadership experience preferred
