ProCore Full Job Description Job Title:

Construction Superintendent (Commercial Projects) We are seeking an experienced Construction Superintendent to oversee and manage field operations for commercial construction projects, including healthcare facilities, educational institutions, municipal buildings, and senior living communities. This role is responsible for ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and coordinate all on-site construction activities from project start through completion. Supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnel to ensure adherence to project plans, specifications, and safety standards. Develop and maintain project schedules, proactively identifying and resolving delays or conflicts. Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies, conducting regular site safety meetings and inspections. Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and clients to ensure clear communication and alignment. Monitor workmanship and materials to ensure quality control and compliance with contract documents. Manage inspections, permits, and code compliance requirements, particularly for regulated environments like healthcare and senior living. Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of site activities. Coordinate site logistics, including deliveries, equipment, and site access. Identify and mitigate risks, resolving field issues efficiently to keep projects on track.

Qualifications:

5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial construction. Proven experience with healthcare, education, municipal, or senior living projects. Strong knowledge of construction methods, building codes, and safety regulations. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schedules. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Proficiency with construction management software (e.g., Procore, Bluebeam, MS Project). OSHA 30 certification preferred. High school diploma required; degree in Construction Management or related field preferred.

$125,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
