as a Permitting Manager in Jensen Beach, FL, where you will play a key role in streamlining our permitting processes. Be part of a dynamic team dedicated to delivering top-quality roofing solutions while ensuring compliance with local regulations.
Responsibilities:
Manage and oversee the permitting process for all roofing projects. Coordinate with local municipalities to ensure timely approvals and compliance. Review and prepare permit applications and documentation for accuracy. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of local building codes and regulations. Communicate effectively with building departments, project managers, production team and clients regarding permit statuses. Resolve any permitting issues or discrepancies that arise during the process. Develop and implement strategies to improve permitting efficiency. MUST be able to handle scheduling all inspections that are needed as well as the ability to manage multiple projects at once. MUST be familiar with Broward Country, Palm Beach County, Martin County, & St. Lucie County. Familiarized with submitting and requesting Notice of Commencements, Notice of Terminations, and Certificate of Completions is a plus but not required.
Requirements:
Proven experience in permitting within the construction or roofing industry. Strong knowledge of local building codes, regulations, and permitting processes. Excellent organizational and time management skills. Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities. Detail-oriented with a problem-solving mindset.
