12-Month Contract This on site-role based in Juno Beach, FL sits within the Pre-Construction (Early Stage) group of a large renewable construction company. Reporting to the Solar Regional Lead Project Manager, the position covers technical, construction, commercial, and financial responsibilities. It is well suited to business-minded individuals with technical aptitude, or technically-minded individuals with strong financial acumen, who are looking to grow on the Project Management track.
Job Responsibilities:
In this role, you will manage and support a variety of projects within the Solar Pre-Construction department.
Key responsibilities include:
Taking full ownership of assigned Solar projects and actively managing them through the Early-Stage process in preparation for handover to the Construction team Delivering projects that are technically feasible, on schedule, commercially supported, and financially viable Analyzing technical and financial data to identify key variables, indicators, and trends across assigned projects Creating, owning, and actively managing Solar project capital budgets through to approval
Essential Job Duties and Functions:
Supporting development and permitting activities; coordinating with subject matter experts and facilitating engineering efforts Engaging in problem resolution and optimization across all project phases Supporting the development of viable construction plans and schedules Assisting in the negotiation and execution of commercial contracts Managing critical project data and deliverables across multiple software platforms Communicating and interfacing with Executive Leadership with Regional Lead support Performing additional tasks as required to maintain group organization, data deliverables, team readiness, and individual project viability
Knowledge and Skills:
Strong financial and data analysis capabilities Mechanical awareness and/or interest in technical project variables Familiarity with construction, the energy industry, and/or solar is a plus Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with limited direction Highly organized, proactive, and self-directed work style
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or Engineering required Experience in construction, energy, or solar industries preferred Demonstrated interest in career growth along the Project Management path ...
