General Contractor/Owner

Florida Licensed General Contractor / Construction Operations Partner We are seeking an experienced Florida Licensed General Contractor to help lead and scale a growing residential construction and hospitality-focused development company. This is not a traditional job opportunity. We are looking for a high-level construction operator and execution-focused partner capable of managing projects, timelines, subcontractors, and field operations while helping build scalable systems for long-term growth. We are currently developing and renovating hospitality-focused properties and resort-style STR communities throughout Florida.

This includes:

Ground-up construction Residential renovations STR-optimized home design Resort-style community development Hospitality-focused redevelopment projects The development vision, capital, and project pipeline are already in place. We are looking for someone who can execute efficiently, manage operations, and keep projects moving at a high level. One of the most important responsibilities in this role is timeline management. The ideal candidate understands how to: Coordinate subcontractors effectively Prevent delays and bottlenecks Maintain project momentum Keep projects on budget and on schedule Solve field issues quickly Maintain quality while scaling operations

Responsibilities:

Oversee residential construction and renovation projects from start to finish Coordinate subcontractors, schedules, inspections, and permitting Read and interpret plans, blueprints, and construction documents Conduct site inspections and maintain quality control Manage project timelines and operational execution Assist in building scalable construction systems and workflows Maintain strong communication with ownership, vendors, and subcontractors Ensure compliance with Florida building codes and safety standards

Qualifications:

Active Florida General Contractor License Strong residential construction and renovation experience Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously Strong organizational and leadership skills Ability to manage timelines and subcontractor coordination effectively Knowledge of permitting and inspections in Florida Experience with construction management software is preferred Ownership mentality and long-term growth mindset
