Job Description

On behalf of our client, a premier and growing construction firm, we are seeking an organized, proactive Construction Coordinator to join their team. In this role, you will step beyond basic office administration to play a direct, hands-on role in the logistics, scheduling, and successful execution of commercial and residential building projects. Our client values collaborative, driven individuals. As a Construction Coordinator, you will act as the vital link between their office management team, design professionals, and field superintendents. salary:
$20 - $23 per hourshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5

High SchoolResponsibilities Project Schedule Coordination:
Work closely with Project Managers to coordinate subcontractor schedules, track project milestones, and ensure construction timelines are met.
Material & Logistics Tracking:
Oversee the procurement cycle, tracking material orders and equipment rentals from purchase to job site delivery to prevent project delays.
Technical Document Control:
Manage the RFI (Request for Information) and Submittal processes, ensuring prompt communication between subcontractors, architects, and engineers.
Field & Office Liaison:
Act as the primary bridge between the office management team and the field superintendents to resolve daily logistical and operational issues.
Permits & Inspections:
Coordinate the application, tracking, and retrieval of building permits, and schedule required municipal inspections at key project phases.
Change Order Management:
Assist in documenting, tracking, and processing project change orders, ensuring all adjustments to scope and cost are accurately recorded.
Compliance & Safety Tracking:
Collect and maintain subcontractor compliance documents, including Certificates of Insurance (COIs), safety logs, and lien waivers.
Project Closeout Support:
Assist with the final project handover by gathering warranties, Operation & Maintenance (O&M) manuals, and tracking punch-list completion.
