Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Construction Finishing Superintendent to oversee and coordinate the final phases of luxury multi family construction projects. The ideal candidate will ensure that all finishing work meets quality standards, adheres to project schedules, and complies with safety regulations. This role requires strong management skills, extensive construction site experience, and proficiency with construction management software and industry tools. The Construction Finishing Superintendent will lead a team of subcontractors and workers, ensuring seamless project completion from punch list to project handover. EXPERIENCE WITH HIGH END LUXURY FINSHES ON LARGE SCALE CONSTRUCTION PROJECTS PREFERED
• Duties Supervise and coordinate all finishing activities on construction sites, including interior and exterior finishes, fixtures, and final inspections. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to ensure timely completion. Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction documents to verify work aligns with design specifications. Manage subcontractors and labor teams, providing supervision, guidance, and quality control to meet project standards. Conduct regular site inspections to monitor progress, safety compliance (OSHA), and quality assurance. Coordinate with project managers on budgeting, procurement of materials, and resource allocation. Ensure all work complies with safety protocols, building codes, and contractual obligations. Utilize tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing and other specialized equipment as needed. Prepare reports on project status, issues, and resolutions for stakeholders. Oversee the review of contracts, change orders, and project documentation to ensure accuracy and compliance. Requirements Proven experience in construction management with a focus on finishing phases; supervising experience preferred. Proficiency with construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, HeavyBid, or equivalent tools. Strong knowledge of blueprint reading, schematics, construction estimating, budgeting, and project scheduling. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and regulations governing construction sites. Extensive construction site experience in commercial or industrial projects; pipeline experience is a plus. Ability to manage multiple teams effectively while maintaining high standards of quality control. Excellent management skills with the ability to supervise subcontractors and coordinate large teams efficiently. Strong problem-solving skills with attention to detail in quality assurance processes. Technical proficiency with tools such as Ohmmeter for electrical testing; knowledge of construction site safety practices is essential. This position offers an opportunity to lead complex projects through their final stages while ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency are maintained throughout the process.
Pay:
$120,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
