Job Title Residential HVAC Installation Manager Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Residential HVAC Installation Manager to lead our installation department in Northeast Florida. This role oversees the daily operations, scheduling, and quality control of residential and light commercial equipment installations ranging from 1.5 to 25 tons. You will manage installation crews, ensure strict safety and code compliance, and maintain high customer satisfaction standards. Key Responsibilities Team Leadership & Operations Manage, schedule, and dispatch installation crews daily. Recruit, train, and mentor installers and apprentices. Conduct regular performance evaluations for the installation team. Enforce company safety policies and OSHA regulations on job sites. Project & Quality Management Oversee installations of equipment ranging from 1.5 to 25 tons. Conduct job site inspections to ensure code-compliant, high-quality work. Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and structural issues on-site. Coordinate material orders, sheet metal fabrication, and equipment delivery. Customer & Financial Management Resolve customer complaints regarding installation quality or scheduling. Review completed jobs to verify profitability and labor efficiency. Authorize timesheets, expense reports, and subcontractor invoices. Collaborate with the sales team to review project scopes and estimates. Required Qualifications Minimum of 5 years in HVAC residential and light commercial installation. Minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role. Deep knowledge of Florida Building Codes and local EPA regulations. Valid EPA Universal Certification. Valid driver's license with a clean driving record. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders. Preferred Qualifications NATE (North American Technician Excellence) Certification. Experience managing installations up to 25-ton commercial split/packaged systems. Familiarity with HVAC dispatching software (e.g., ServiceTitan, FieldEdge).
