- Summary We are seeking an experienced Material Manager to oversee material planning, tracking, inventory control, and logistics support across multiple construction and operational projects in Texas.
- Coordinate material planning, tracking, receiving, storage, transfers, and reconciliation across multiple projects
- Monitor material movement between warehouses, laydown yards, and field locations
- Support project schedules by ensuring timely material availability and resolving shortages or discrepancies
- Work closely with field teams, contractors, vendors, procurement, engineering, and accounting groups
- Maintain accurate material records, inventory reports, and tracking documentation
- Support vendor coordination, expediting, invoice reconciliation, and procurement activities
- Conduct field visits to verify deliveries, inventory, and material handling practices
- Identify opportunities to improve material management and logistics processes Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in material management, inventory control, logistics, construction support, or project operations
- Experience supporting multiple field projects and coordinating material movement
- Strong understanding of procurement, inventory management, receiving, and reconciliation processes
- Experience working with contractors, vendors, and cross-functional teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and inventory/project tracking systems
- Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in construction, utility, infrastructure, industrial, or energy environments
- Familiarity with warehouse operations, field logistics, and material tracking systems
- Experience supporting project cost tracking and financial reconciliation Additional Information
- Field-based role with travel required across multiple Texas project locations
