None Required. The Opportunity You will take complete ownership of high-impact commercial and federal mechanical builds, serving as the central point of contact from initial project turnover through final closeout. This role grants you the authority to manage multi-million dollar project budgets while collaborating directly with field leadership to drive execution. Whether joining as a Project Manager or a Senior PM, you will step into a professional, high-accountability culture that values your technical expertise, respects your leadership, and rewards execution. How You Will Make an Impact Lead the preconstruction rollout and project execution plan for complex HVAC, hydronic piping, and commercial mechanical systems. Manage all project-related documentation using Procore, tracking RFIs, submittals, and change orders with total accuracy. Control project financial health by tracking labor productivity, overseeing progress billings, and protecting gross margins. Coordinate material procurement, execute vendor quote leveling, and lead total project equipment buyout strategies. Partner with field Foremen to streamline site readiness, layout verification, and early clash detection before installations begin. Oversee critical final phases including pressure testing, equipment startup, testing and balancing (TAB), and mechanical commissioning. Mentor junior project staff and contribute to company-wide operational process improvements (Senior PM level). Required Qualifications & Experience of 5+ years of commercial mechanical or HVAC project management experience (8+ years required for Senior PM consideration). High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Strong ability to interpret mechanical drawings, BIM models, equipment schedules, submittals, and specifications. Deep knowledge of mechanical system components including ductwork, refrigerant piping, hydronic piping, and building controls. Proficient with Microsoft Office (specifically Excel), Adobe, and construction software platforms. Valid driver's license with a driving record that meets company insurance compliance standards. Preferred Qualifications & Experience Direct, hands-on mechanical field leadership background or an administrative construction management degree. Extensive experience managing projects within complex institutional environments like healthcare, education, or federal facilities. Advanced proficiency with Procore project management tools and digital cost-forecasting methods. Familiarity with commercial plumbing systems and general trade coordination workflows.
