Site Managers for the 2026 - 2027 School Year Join the Sunshine Child Programs Leadership Team! Sunshine Child Programs is seeking enthusiastic, dependable, and motivated leaders who are passionate about working with children and building successful teams. As a Site Manager, you will play a vital leadership role in overseeing daily program operations, supporting and developing staff, ensuring compliance with licensing and School Board requirements, and creating a safe, engaging, and enriching environment for students. Compensation Pay is based on the assigned school location and program enrollment. Larger programs and sites with higher enrollment may qualify for increased compensation. Candidates who possess a current Director Credential may be eligible for additional compensation if Sunshine utilizes the credential to support program licensing requirements. Position Responsibilities Supervise the daily operations of a school-age child care program Lead, motivate, and support program staff Maintain compliance with Child Care Licensing regulations and School Board policies Build positive relationships with students, families, school personnel, and staff Plan and oversee engaging activities and enrichment opportunities for children Ensure a safe, positive, and nurturing environment for all participants Manage attendance, documentation, and program records as required Serve as the primary point of contact for parents and school administration Qualifications & Requirements To be considered, applicants must meet the following requirements: Minimum of two (2) years of hands-on experience in child care, after-school programs, or a related field working with children, families, and staff Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills Experience planning and implementing activities for school-age children Professional appearance and demeanor Must be available Monday through Friday from 12:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. Must be available 11:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. on Broward County Public Schools Early Release Days Must be 21 years of age or older High School Diploma or GED required (copy must be provided) Ability to read, write, speak, and comprehend English Reliable transportation Employment & Training Requirements All candidates must successfully complete: Federal and local background screening, including School Board fingerprinting Child Care Licensing training requirements, including 45 hours of Child Care training within one year of employment CPR and First Aid Certification within 30 days of hire (provided by Sunshine) What We're Looking For A positive, confident leader who enjoys mentoring and supporting others A team player who leads by example Someone who is organized, dependable, and committed to excellence A professional who genuinely enjoys working with children and families A leader who can create a welcoming, engaging, and successful program environment Join Sunshine Child Programs and become part of a team dedicated to developing children, supporting families, and creating exceptional experiences every day.
