Job Description

Job Overview We are seeking an energetic and highly experienced Senior Superintendent to lead our Historical Masonry Reconstruction Project. This pivotal role involves overseeing the restoration and preservation of historic masonry structures, ensuring that all work aligns with project specifications, safety standards, and quality expectations. The ideal candidate will bring a passion for construction management, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to excellence in historic preservation. You will coordinate multidisciplinary teams, manage project schedules, and ensure that reconstruction efforts are executed efficiently, safely, and with the utmost respect for historical integrity. Duties Lead and supervise all on-site construction activities related to masonry reconstruction, ensuring adherence to project plans, schematics, and specifications. Develop and maintain detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or similar construction management software to track progress and deadlines. Coordinate with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure seamless workflow and timely delivery of materials. Oversee quality control processes by inspecting work quality, verifying blueprint accuracy, and ensuring compliance with OSHA safety regulations. Manage project budgets by monitoring costs, reviewing contracts, and implementing effective cost control measures. Supervise site personnel, providing guidance on construction site safety protocols, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating. Utilize construction management software such as ProCore and Bluebeam for documentation, reporting, and communication across teams. Ensure all work meets the highest standards of craftsmanship while preserving the historical integrity of masonry structures. Oversee subcontractor performance and enforce contractual obligations to maintain project timelines and quality standards. Qualifications Proven experience in heavy civil or historic masonry reconstruction projects with a strong background in construction management. Extensive supervising experience on construction sites with a focus on masonry or historic preservation projects. Proficiency in Primavera P6 for project scheduling; experience with Construction Management Software such as ProCore and Bluebeam is highly desirable. Strong understanding of contracts, budgeting processes, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and construction estimating techniques. Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to construction sites; ability to enforce safety protocols effectively. Excellent management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple teams while maintaining clear communication channels. Ability to read detailed schematics and blueprints related to masonry restoration; experience in quality control is essential.
Pay:
$100,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year
