Job Description
Job Overview:
We are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Remodeling Sales Representative to join our team. As a Remodeling Sales Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, promoting and selling products, and ensuring a positive shopping experience for our customers.Duties:
- Greet customers and assist them in finding the right remodeling products
- Provide product information and answer any questions or concerns
- Recommend additional products or upsell to maximize sales
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets
- Handle customer complaints or issues in a professional manner
- Stay up-to-date on product knowledge and construction industry trends
Requirements:
- While in-depth construction knowledge isn't necessary, we are requiring a basic understanding of common remodeling projects (kitchen/bath remodels, additions, etc.) and the materials used (cabinetry, countertops, flooring).
- Candidate should be able to identify a homeowner's remodeling goals, budget, and preferred style through effective questioning and active listening.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively
- Previous experience in renovation sales or related field is preferred
- Ability to upsell and cross-sell products (windows, floors, etc.) to increase sales revenue
- Excellent verbal communication skills in English
- Strong organizational skills to maintain a tidy and visually appealing sales floor
