Project Based Travel - Offices in Fort Myers Beach & Stuart Florida - Jobs in Treasure Coast, Gulf Coast, and Space Coast Florida Lawrence Lee Construction Services is seeking an experienced Water/Wastewater Construction Superintendent to oversee field operations on municipal and industrial water treatment projects throughout Florida. This position plays a critical role in managing day-to-day site operations, maintaining project schedules, enforcing safety standards, and leading field personnel and subcontractors. We are looking for a strong field leader who understands heavy civil construction and takes pride in delivering high-quality projects safely and efficiently. Responsibilities Manage daily construction activities on water and wastewater treatment projects Coordinate crews, subcontractors, equipment, and material deliveries Maintain project schedules and communicate progress with Project Managers Ensure all work is performed safely and in compliance with OSHA standards Conduct daily site planning and jobsite coordination meetings Review drawings, specifications, and project documents Monitor quality control and maintain project documentation Coordinate inspections and maintain compliance with municipal requirements Track labor productivity and assist with manpower planning Promote a positive and accountable jobsite culture Qualifications 5+ years of Superintendent experience in heavy civil or water/wastewater construction Experience with treatment plants, lift stations, underground utilities, or related infrastructure projects preferred Strong knowledge of construction sequencing, safety practices, and scheduling Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Strong communication and leadership skills Valid driver's license required OSHA 30 preferred What We Offer Competitive compensation based on experience Weekly pay PTO and paid holidays Medical benefits Company vehicle or allowance (if applicable) Opportunity for long-term growth with a rapidly expanding construction company
