Position OverviewThe company is seeking a hands-on Superintendent to lead field operations on commercial construction projects. This role is responsible for managing daily jobsite activities, coordinating subcontractors, and ensuring projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest standards of quality.
Key ResponsibilitiesOversee all on-site construction activities for projects ranging from $5M-$30MCoordinate and supervise subcontractors, vendors, and field personnelDevelop and manage project schedules, ensuring milestones are metEnforce jobsite safety protocols and maintain a clean, organized siteConduct daily site walks, quality control checks, and progress trackingCollaborate closely with Project Managers, owners, and architectsIdentify and proactively resolve field issues to prevent delaysManage inspections, permits, and project closeout processesQualifications5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in commercial constructionExperience managing projects in the $5M+ rangeStrong understanding of construction sequencing, safety standards, and field operationsProven ability to lead subcontractors and keep projects on scheduleExcellent communication and problem-solving skillsLocal Tampa Bay construction experience preferred
