Job Description

A premier, well-established Florida residential homebuilder is seeking a motivated Land Development Project Manager to support the planning, permitting, and execution of residential land development projects from conception through final closeout. This position is ideal for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in a collaborative environment and is eager to step into a role with clear pathways toward broader leadership responsibilities.
Qualifications & Requirements Experience:
3-5 years of dedicated experience in real estate land development. This must include a minimum of 2 years focused on project management, civil engineering/architecture coordination, real estate transactions, or infrastructure construction management.
Plan Reading:
Proven capability to accurately read, interpret, and analyze complex architectural and civil engineering plans.
Communication:
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with a track record of successfully interfacing cross-functionally and with community stakeholders.
Project Execution:
High level of organization, strict attention to detail, and a proactive mindset dedicated to delivering projects on time and within budget constraints.
Travel:
Willingness and flexibility to travel regularly to regional job sites.
Professional Drive:
A fast learner with the ambition and adaptability to grow into expanded leadership roles.
Regional Knowledge:
Direct experience working with Florida Community Development Districts (CDDs) is highly advantageous.

$5,000 - $100,000 per yearshift: Firstwork hours: 8 AM - 5

Support the entitlement and permitting process, including attending necessary municipal and public agency meetings.
Stakeholder Coordination:
Coordinate daily development tasks with civil engineers, environmental consultants, contractors, and local government officials.
Financial Tracking:
Assist in establishing, updating, and tracking comprehensive project budgets, schedules, and feasibility models; manage and track incoming invoices and project expenses.
Bidding & Procurement:
Solicit, review, and evaluate competitive bids and proposals from contractors and consultants; provide data-driven internal selection recommendations.
Timeline Management:
Actively monitor project milestones, critical paths, and construction goals to ensure timelines are met.
Design Alignment:
Participate in Architectural Review Board (ARB) meetings to align master planning, construction, and aesthetic design standards.
Risk Mitigation:
Help identify potential project risks related to entitlements, site permitting, material procurement, and scheduling.
Site Supervision:
Attend regular construction progress meetings and conduct site visits to evaluate fieldwork quality and progress.
Community Representation:
Represent the developer on Homeowner Association (HOA) and Community Development District (CDD) boards as required.
